Dear Armbrae Families and Community Members,
The Armbrae Academy Board of Governors is thrilled to invite applications from passionate community members who are eager to join our Board. We extend this opportunity to: parents, guardians, former parents, alumni, and friends of Armbrae who share our commitment to the school's continued success.
The Board is also committed to multi-year succession planning, and would like to hear from anyone interested in volunteering on a Board Sub-Committee as a non-Board member. Participation from non-Board members on Board Sub-Committees (eg. Governance, Finance Audit and Risk, Advancement, Facilities) is important for creating a potential pool of future Board candidates.
As we go through the search process to welcome new Governors, we wish to also extend a sincere thank you to one of our most dedicated and experienced Governors, Marc Beaubien. As Marc steps down from his role as Secretary, we recognize his invaluable contributions over the years. Marc has left a profound and lasting mark on our school, and we hold deep appreciation for his unwavering commitment and dedication to Armbrae.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of becoming a Governor, or participating on a Committee as a non-Board member, we encourage you to click here to access the application form. Please ensure your application is submitted no later than midnight on Tuesday, November 14th.
On behalf of the Board of Governors, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who express interest in serving and contributing to the growth and success of our wonderful school.
Sincerely,
Jill Hennigar
Chair, Armbrae Academy Board of Governors
