A Note from Mr. Clarke
Dear Armbrae Families and Community Members:
Re-enrolment Reminder
Over 70% of students have re-enrolled for the 2024-25 school year, and I’d like to thank all those families that were able to re-enrol their children by last Friday’s deadline. For those of you that have not yet re-enrolled your child, please refer to the email you received on February 2nd from “armbrae@mg.myoneschool.com” for your login credentials to the re-enrolment platform. As always, if you have any questions, please contact Suzanne Morrison.
Designer Purse Bingo - Thank You!
On Saturday night, we had over 300 people join us for our Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser. It was an extremely successful evening raising over $35,000! A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers and community for making this event another huge success! Just a reminder that those funds will go toward this year’s Annual Fund Projects: musical instruments, visual arts equipment; SMART board upgrades, and our scholarship and bursaries fund. This event, along with the funds raised at the Osprey Golf Tournament, and on Giving Tuesday, allowed us to reach our goal of $65,000 for this year. Thank you so much to everyone that supported these events.
Save The Date!
After 46 years, Armbrae legend “Miss B” - Susan Beazley - is retiring. Our long serving and beloved Athletic Director will be hanging up her sneakers at the end of this school year, and we want you to be part of an evening of celebration in her honour. More details will be forthcoming in the March 20th edition of the TWA, but for now, we’d like you to save Saturday, May 4th on your calendar.
In the meantime, we hope you have a wonderful and relaxing March Break and we look forward to seeing everyone when we return to school on March 18th!
Cheers,
Steve.
