Winter Celebration Showcase–December 15th
Mark your calendars for our Winter Celebration Showcase which will feature all students from Grades Primary through Seven. Shows will be at 1:00pm and 6:30pm. Lower School students will perform at both the matinee and evening performances. Grade Seven students will perform at the matinee only. All students should wear dress clothes in black, white or metallic colours such as gold or silver. We are keeping the clothing colours neutral so that the colours and decorations of each celebration can stand out and help to tell the story.

HOLIDAY KICK-OFF
On December 16th, the Armbrae Parents’ Association will hold our annual Holiday Kick-Off Celebration! This special event is an afternoon of games, crafts and activities. We are looking for volunteers to help out in the afternoon. If you’d like to volunteer please sign up here.
We are also collecting gift cards for Adsum house!
Adsum means, “I am here”. Adsum House provides a safe place and support to women and families who are homeless and without resources. Your donation can help to provide a happy Christmas for hundreds of women, youth and families in Halifax. Click here for more information. Their biggest wishes are for gift cards for coffee, grocery, drug and department stores, and youth cards for clothing stores, electronic shops, malls and fast food (please make sure the value of the gift card is clearly marked). Gift cards can be given to homeroom teachers. There will be collection boxes in Mrs Burt’s office, with Mrs. Langille and at the Coburg Campus. We ask that parents send in gift cards no later than Friday, December 10th, so we can deliver to Adsum House in time for distribution. Thank you in advance for your support!
