Dear Parents and Armbrae Community Members:
This is our last TWA prior to the March break, and I wanted to draw your attention to a few items: re-enrolment, this Saturday’s fundraiser - the Designer Purse Bingo, and our re-scheduled Strategic Plan launch and family pizza party.
Firstly, thank you to the many families that have already re-enroled. If you haven’t already taken care of this, please do so this week. Remember the deadline is March 1st, and we’d like to have an enrolment picture that is as accurate as possible going into the break. Details for re-enrolment are available below.
Secondly, unfortunately, I can’t join you on Saturday as I will be at Lakecrest School in Newfoundland as Vice-Chair of their CAIS review team. That visit takes place from Saturday through to Thursday of next week. However, Mrs. Clarke and I purchased a table and she will be present. I would encourage all of you to join her and support this worthwhile cause. Remember our goal this year is to raise $50,000 for three projects: our scholarship and bursary fund, microscopes for the biology lab, and a new bike shelter and repair station. Kristina Glover has more information on the Designer Purse Bingo in the APA section of this edition, but if you’d like to skip right to buying tickets, please click here.
Thirdly, the Strategic Plan launch and family pizza party - originally scheduled for Thursday, January 26th - has been moved to Thursday, March 30th. We will include a sign up link and details for that event in the next edition of the TWA coming out March 22nd.
In the meantime, here is all the other information you’ll need for the next two weeks. And please enjoy precious time with friends and family over the March Break.
Cheers,
Steve
