A Note from Mr. Clarke
Dear Armbrae Families and Community Members:
Celebration of Learning and Graduation Ceremony
Thank you to all of you that attended last Wednesday’s Celebration of Learning and Graduation Ceremony. It was a lovely evening, and the first time we’ve live streamed that event. One side note, I have to apologize for checking my phone during the ceremony. I promise I wasn’t looking at email, or the score in the game! All of the script notes and slides for our ceremony live in the “Google-verse" and I can keep track of where we are in the programme on my phone. I should have said something in the moment, but didn’t. Again, my apologies.
Back to celebrations and Grads, we have some very exciting news to share with you. Mr. Maki just tallied up all the university acceptances and scholarships that were awarded to our amazing Grade 12 students. Please click here to read about the good news.
Admissions Update
Mrs. Morrison is happy to report that enrollment for September is strong. We do have a few spaces in Grades 2, 4, 7, and 8. If you have friends or neighbours with children entering those grades, they can reach out to Suzanne or drop by the School.
Veracross Parent Portal Access
Next week, you will receive a notification from Ms. Hill that describes how to access the new parent portal in Veracross - our new student information system. For now, the portal will be very basic looking, but you will be able to see your School account balance and make payments online. As September approaches, the other channels of information will be built out and you will come to rely on the portal for quick answers to your everyday Armbrae questions!
