Strategic Plan Launch Party Reminder
Please join us tomorrow (Thursday, January 26th) for the official launch of our strategic plan. Bring the kids, have an informal supper together, and Mr. Clarke will go through the Plan in detail. This is an important moment for our School since we’re closing the loop on this process and publicly committing to a set of promises that we are making to each other. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Designer Purse Bingo: Saturday, February 25, 2023
We are excited to announce that on February 25th, we are hosting the first annual “Designer Purse Bingo” fundraiser in the AARC. Tickets are $50 per person and includes a welcome beverage, bingo daubers, and 10 game cards. You can purchase your tickets here. We are hoping to sell 250 tickets, so bring your friends and join the chance to win a designer bag!

Handwashing
There appears to be several different viruses circulating in the community. Please take a moment and remind your children at home about the importance of proper handwashing. Teachers will continue to reinforce this message at school.
Division Updates
Foundation Years - Rebecca Cornick
Thank you so much to Olivia and Craig, parents to Evelyn and Daniel, for the wonderful presentation on Chinese New Year. It was enjoyed by all!
Lower School - Tara Burt
Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for our ever changing weather. We go outside everyday, including cold and snowy days. Also, our lost and found has many hats and mitts! Please label all outerwear so they can be returned to their rightful owners.
In Music, Lower School students are working hard learning songs on a variety of instruments. On Thursday, February 16th at 2:15pm, the Lower School will perform these instrumental music pieces for each other in the AARC. Parents are welcome to attend. The show should be approximately 30-45 mins.
Middle School - Stephanie Sajatovich
Remember, it’s Colour Day tomorrow!
Middle School Candy Grams are coming back! The Middle School Council will be selling Candy Grams from Wednesday, February 1st - Friday, February 10th! The Candy Grams are 50¢ for 1 or 3 for $1. Remember to bring small denominations of cash on those days.
Upper School - Ally Read
We are so thrilled to have our Grade 11 and 12 Europe trip back up and running! During the March Break of 2024, we will be travelling to Rome, Italy and Athens, Greece. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity and are currently in Grade 10 and 11, we invite you, along with your parents, to attend the virtual information session on Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30 PM. PSAT 10
On Wednesday, February 22nd, Grade 10 students will be writing the PSAT 10 as part of our Career and University Guidance program. Students will be learning more about the PSAT 10 and completing some practice questions in Career Education PSAT 10 classes over the coming weeks; parents/guardians can see this information here.

- Junior High Girls and Boys Basketball Teams start League play.
- Senior Girls and Boys Basketball Teams continue playing games.
- Our Hockey Team is in a tournament on January 26th and 27th in St. Margarets Bay.
- Our Junior Osprey Basketball Teams play in the ACIS tournament on February 2nd & 3rd at HGS and Sacred Heart.
- The Senior Boys Basketball Team is away in Montreal and have played 4 games. We’ve won 2 games and lost 2 games, one in overtime.

Designer Purse Bingo - Save the Date!
Armbrae’s first annual Designer Purse Bingo is scheduled for Saturday, February 25th! Doors open at 6:00pm and the first game will start at 7:00pm.
